This song was a hit in 2006 for Sandi Thom and represents a nostalgia-fest for life in the 70s from someone too young to have experienced it. The original consists primarily of solo voice and duets, accompanied by increasingly developed percussion parts. The arrangement follows this to an extent, though it develops the vocal texture further, reaching four parts towards the end, and brings in some of the percussive functions into the vocal parts so that the optional percussion parts (for cajon, egg shaker and hand-clapping) can be omitted if need be.
